Smart Energy Saving (Smart ECO Mode): The system automatically reduces engine speed to minimum when the mower moves without load (idle). As soon as the blade contacts the grass again — maximum power returns instantly. Result — up to 30–45% longer runtime per battery charge. Runtime on standard FOX DualCore 5Ah batteries from 3 hours (<180 min), on FOX DualCore 9Ah batteries from 5 hours (<300 min).

Description: Modern lawn care: why a cordless lawn mower is the best choice In today’s world, lawn care has turned from routine work into real pleasure — especially with innovative equipment in your hands. FOX GLIDER 430 combines convenience, power and eco-friendliness. It runs on two 21 V batteries compatible with the Makita 18V X2 LXT system (often labeled as 20–21 V max), features 6 cutting height levels and a powerful brushless motor. These mowers are ideal for medium and small areas (up to 500–700 m²). They are mobile, quiet, emission-free and require no complicated maintenance.
General advantages of cordless lawn mowers compared to traditional ones Unlike petrol and corded electric models, cordless mowers give complete freedom of movement. No tangled cable and no need for gasoline. They produce no harmful emissions, so they can be safely used in residential areas, near children and pets. Users especially appreciate:
- Quiet operation — noise level only 80–90 dB (petrol models — over 100 dB).
- No gasoline smell or exhaust.
- Minimal maintenance — no need to change oil, spark plugs or filters.
Compared to corded electric mowers, cordless models win in mobility: mow at the edge of the plot or in a remote garden corner — without hunting for an outlet.
Why the FOX GLIDER 430 stands out profitably from competitors Optimal 43 cm cutting width is the golden balance between speed and maneuverability. In one pass you cover more grass than 33–38 cm models, so on a 500–600 m² lawn you spend less time. At the same time the mower easily passes between trees, flowerbeds and narrow paths. The lightweight ABS plastic body makes it convenient to carry (weight about 15–20 kg). 6 cutting height levels (25–75 mm). One lever — and you choose the ideal height for any season and grass type. Low cut for a formal lawn in summer, higher for root protection in heat or autumn. Thanks to this, the mower not only cuts but also helps maintain lawn health. Powerful brushless motor. The motor reaches up to 4900 rpm and easily handles thick or wet grass. The smart control unit with energy saving (Smart ECO Mode) lets you mow twice as long! Compared to conventional brushed motors it:
- lasts 2 times longer,
- heats up less,
- consumes battery charge more economically.
Electronic control keeps stable rpm even under load — the cut is even, vibration is minimal, hands don’t get tired. Runs on two 21 V Makita-type (DualCore) batteries. Two 5 Ah or 9 Ah batteries deliver total 36–42 V power and up to 180 minutes of runtime (up to 600 m² on one charge). The X2 LXT system lets you use existing batteries from other Makita tools — no need to buy new ones. Advantages of dual batteries:
- Parallel operation — maximum power on thick grass.
- Quick replacement without downtime.
- Smart ECO mode — saves charge at idle.
