Reliable Power Distribution for Automotive, Marine, and Solar Systems
A set of two power distribution bus bars (red for positive, black for negative) designed to organize high-current wiring in 12-48V DC systems. Each block is rated for a total continuous current of 250A and features 4 × M8 (5/16") terminal studs for heavy-gauge cable connections. Included protective covers prevent accidental contact and short circuits.

Key Features
High Conductivity & Low Resistance
The bus bar is made from nickel-plated brass, offering excellent electrical conductivity with minimal resistance. The nickel plating protects against oxidation and corrosion, which is especially important in humid environments such as boats, trailers, and under-hood applications.
Safety & Short Circuit Protection
Each block comes with a removable protective cover that shields terminals from accidental contact and foreign objects. The nylon base is flame-retardant, preventing combustion in case of overheating.
Clean & Organized Wiring
Instead of stacking multiple cable lugs on a single battery terminal, all wires are neatly organized on dedicated studs. Separate blocks for positive (red) and negative (black) make the system easy to understand, maintain, and troubleshoot.
Easy Installation
Two mounting holes on each block allow you to secure the bus bar anywhere using the included screws. M8 studs are compatible with standard ring terminal lugs with 5/16" holes.
Wide Voltage Range
Operates from 12V to 48V DC — suitable for standard 12V automotive systems, 24V trucks, 36V golf carts, and 48V solar/battery systems.
Applications
- Cars & SUVs — distributing battery power to accessories (winch, lights, compressor, inverter)
- Boats & Yachts — marine electrical systems requiring moisture and salt resistance
- RVs & Campers — organizing 12V house electrical systems
- Solar Systems — connecting panels, charge controllers, inverters, and battery banks
- Trucks & Trailers — 24V power distribution
- Car Audio — connecting amplifiers and subwoofers
- Heavy Equipment & Industrial — any DC system up to 48V
Installation Guide
- Mount the red block (positive) and black block (negative) in a convenient location using the included screws
- Connect the main power cable from the battery to one of the studs
- Distribute power to loads by connecting their cables to the remaining studs
- Tighten nuts to ensure a secure, low-resistance connection
- Install the protective covers
Why Use a Bus Bar Instead of Stacking on Battery Terminals?
Many people connect all wires directly to the battery terminal, creating a mess of cables, poor connections, and short circuit risks. A bus bar distribution block solves these problems:
- Organization — all cables collected in one place, each on a dedicated stud
- Reliability — M8 bolted connections ensure stable contact without overheating
- Serviceability — disconnect a single load without disturbing the others
- Safety — protective cover eliminates accidental short circuits
- Scalability — easily add new loads to available studs
